England Prevail....

England beating Kazakhstan yesterday was surely no surprise to anyone. They played some decent football at times, which is show with 6 wins from 6 now in the qualifiers! Surely a mark of great side is that now fans and critics are no longer looking to individual players who can change or make the game. Recently everybody has been focused on the England TEAM. Finally we're playing the way we should be, although we have yet to face some major opposition. I find it unlikely that Andorra will step up to that plate come Wednesday night...I imagine England will make it 7 from 7...

7 FROM 7....but has there really been much worthy competition? It's like Amir Khan fighting a bunch of nobodies (apart from the Cuban in Olympics) and then gets busted up by a real opponent...will the same happen to England?

If you look at Englands recent results most of the team have been little competition. The only good team they beat was Germany. The other good team they came up against was Spain, and ENgland lost!

Yeah, but the way they've been playing has been far better. They've been playing as a team for once which is encouraging. And the fact that they are currently 4th favourite for Jules Rimmet next season says a lot. Hopefully the Quarter Final Jinx will be lifted come South Africa.
